    Notes Cold wind blowing. The eastern end of this site is best approached by car to minimise the risk of flushing the large number of birds concentrated in this area. The site comprises only the northern half of the wetland and birds seen in flight. A reed bed in the middle of the wetland completely screens the southern shore and adjacent open water from observers walking along the northern shoreline. Should capacity increase it would be worth creating a further CWAC site to cover this area.
