Notes Heavy dumping has restricted access to the secondary waterbody to the east of the main dam. This was counted using a scope from the berm between the two bodies of water. Dumping of rubble and domestic waste continues at a staggering scale around this site. For the first time in years the main source of raw sewage entering the dam appears to have been plugged. There are however other pollution sources. Harsh light made species identification along parts of the western shore difficult. This area is best counted during the approach from the east.
