    Notes "The water speed measured at the railway bridge was 1 metre per 6 seconds at 08h30, and the water was murky and had a dark streaky residue coming along from the Keysers River at the confluence, not unlike sewage. There was no sewage smell present. We were pleasantly surprised to see a Giant Kingfisher in the railway bridge area and eventually saw the 3 species of kingfishers today at various locations. We were hoping to see a Little Bittern and there were signs of reeds moving in places, as a sign of their presence, which were warblers in the reeds. The Night Herons were missing in the Westlake Wetlands today. Thank you to all who came to participate and help count today and to the Nature Reserve staff who went out in the boat to count the Marina canals."
