    Notes The survey was carried out by the Kosi Bay Ezemvelo Honoury Officers group - split into four teams to simultaneously survey the lakes as follows: Kosi Mouth and estuary (GH, GC, RC - driving and walking shoreline), Kukalwe and estuary (MB - boat), first and second lake (PC - boat) and third and fourth lakes (RJ, DM, JO - boat). Additional species of interest: five Palm-nut Vultures recorded
