    Notes Vlei has shrunk considerably, and large tracts of reed beds caused complications with access to edges of the vlei. Waders very hard to identify (far and numerous). Did survey the entire vlei (drove the whole way around), but still feel the numbers we have are drastically lower than what is actually happening on the vlei. we flushed many African Snipe that were in the reed beds, but feel there are definitly more around.
